ST*R Learning has worked with the flagship leisure centre Guildford Spectrum. We provided business skills training for its staff and helped to design and launch a new personal development and appraisal scheme. “We found the company very responsive to our needs, moving very quickly to meet our deadlines,” commented Claire Davenport, Head of Leisure Services at Guildford Borough Council. “I would recommend ST*R Learning without hesitation.” Click here for a testimonial about our work with Guildford Spectrum Leisure Centre.
We delivered workshops on Customer Service as part of an event at Sandwell Leisure Trust (SLT) called ‘Drive for Excellence’. Their target is to achieve excellence in Quest II accreditations. This project involved delivering this tailored workshop at seven centres in the Dudley area to almost 300 delegates. We had extensive communication with SLT to develop content and case studies and produced a highly interactive workshop that was very well accepted. Pre-delivery consultation included a web-based virtual session to ensure that we fully understood SLT’s objectives and organisation.
Berkshire Sport asked us to design a day of training in ‘Influencing Skills’ and ‘Making a Presentation’ for its employees in autumn 2010. ST*R Learning tailored the training to meet Berkshire Sport’s objectives for its staff. Employees who attended the workshops rated them highly, giving an average score of 98% overall satisfaction. When asked how much they thought the training would impact on their performance at work, they gave an average score of 96%.
